Saturday February 7th 9:30AM -10:30AM ~ Creative Writing Meet-up with Amy Lundstrom ~ Come with a notepad an writing instrument of choice for relaxing, spontaneous writing exercises to invite your creativity out. Sharing is optional and no experience necessary. Free

Saturday February 14th 2PM -4PM ~ “Paint Your Love” Acrylic Painting workshop with Humboldt Artist, Ken Nunes ~ Emphasis on Light and Shadow techniques. All experience levels welcome. Come with a partner and enjoy a guided lesson while gazing at one another, and create your painting of your partner … or Come with a printed photo of someone or something you love … and translate it to a personal painting using the techniques Ken will share about working with light and shadow. The photo can be of a person, pet, place or moment from your life that you want to honor with a painting. High contrast images will work great for this. (If you are unable print the photo we will print it for you as long as you email it to us a few days in advance of the workshop.) $55/pp Plus Mario’s is offering a special “Love Potion” drink option to be served around 3Pm while you’re painting for an additional $10.

Friday + Saturday + Sunday ~ March 13th-15th, 2026 ~ Painting Workshop with Laci Dane  10AM-4PM  ~ $160/pp  ~ A Weekend of Art, Relaxation and Creative Growth ~ Join local artist Laci Dane for a three-day painting intensive exploring both direct and indirect painting techniques. Learn to envision, design, and complete your own masterpieces through hands-on lessons, personalized guidance, and supportive community.  By the end of the weekend, you’ll take home three finished paintings—plus new skills, confidence, and inspiration to continue creating on your own.

Watercolor Batik workshop with artist, Cindy Green. A wonderful technique of painting that uses melted wax and watercolor on rice paper. (similar to fabric batik) No experience necessary, knowledge of color mixing is helpful but not necessary. Bring your own artwork or use one of the provided pieces. This is an introduction to the method so the simpler the better. Limited to Ten per class / Open to students 14yrs or older / $15/pp materials fee DTBD

DTBD~ 10:30AM-12noon ~ Afro Brazilian Dance Workshop with Anna Gottreich ~ Come get a great workout in this fun festive class. Featuring a thorough warm up and movement across the space to beautiful authentic rhythms.
